We were created in God’s image for relationship with Him, and our lives—whether as parents or not—carry influence, so we’re called to live with humility, integrity, boldness, self-control, and intentional presence, reflecting His love in a world full of distraction and compromise.

Stephen’s story reminds us that when we fully surrender to God, live empowered by the Holy Spirit, and keep our eyes on Jesus, we can boldly stand for truth—no matter the cost—and be used by God to spread His message to the world.

Stephen’s defense in Acts 7 shows how God works beyond human control and expectations, challenges the leaders’ resistance to His Spirit, and calls us to submit to God’s will rather than confine Him to our own ideas or places.

Stephen’s bold faith and grace in proclaiming that God dwells in His people, despite opposition and false accusations, challenges us to live surrendered lives that reflect Jesus even amid hardship.

The early church faced internal complaints but wisely addressed them by appointing Spirit-led leaders to manage practical needs, allowing the apostles to focus on teaching and prayer, which helped the church grow stronger and continue its mission.

The message encourages us to boldly live under God’s authority—like the early disciples—by humbling ourselves, speaking truth despite opposition, and trusting that the same Spirit and power that worked through them is still transforming lives today.

God’s kingdom is alive and active, and when we fully surrender to God’s authority, just like the early believers did, his power works through us—bringing hope, healing, and boldness to share Jesus with the world.

The early church responded to threats with bold faith and unity, but the story of Ananias and Sapphira reminds us that God takes our motives seriously and calls us to live with honesty, humility, and full surrender to His presence.

In Acts chapter 4, the early believers, facing threats after a healing, prayed not for deliverance but for boldness to continue God’s work, declaring His sovereignty and asking Him to stretch out His hand through them.
