You Choose (New Year 2026)

January 4, 2026

Service Type: Sunday Service

We start the year by reminding ourselves that how we live is ultimately a choice, and if we want to experience God’s presence, we have to be intentional rather than drifting through life on autopilot. Instead of relying on resolutions, we’re called to consistently choose God by examining the condition of our hearts, recognizing what separates us from Him, and responding with humility and repentance. Scripture reminds us that when we draw close to God, He promises to draw close to us—and that happens as we choose prayer, time in God’s Word, worship, and generosity as daily practices. We’re encouraged to stop being reactive to circumstances and instead build our lives on a foundation that seeks God first, trusting Him to meet our needs. Every choice we make either moves us closer to God or farther away, so we choose life by walking with Him on purpose.
