Over the past ten weeks we laid the foundation of what we believe as Christians. Now we’re starting the next part of our belief series, focused on how we live out what we say we believe. This week we’re talking about worship and how our belief shapes worship, as well as and what (or whom) we actually worship. It’s human nature to worship something—whether it’s sports, entertainment, politics, or God. It’s eye-opening to see how easily we substitute “things” for what truly deserves our devotion. Worship isn’t just songs: it’s the posture of our hearts, how we treat others, how we respond when things go wrong. It’s the soul finding connection with the Creator, bonding with truth, and offering praise. Let’s ask ourselves: who do we worship, and why?
