In this Christmas message we reflect on the familiar carol What Child Is This? and how it draws us into the heart of the Nativity story by asking a simple yet profound question: who is this child who lies in a manger? The song answers: this is Christ the King, pointing us to Jesus’ humble birth and the deep mystery of God becoming flesh to bring salvation. His dignity and His willingness to enter our broken world in the simplest of circumstances is profound.
