This week reminds us how much we need to turn to God in the middle of tragedy and division, because our real hope is found only in Jesus. We are challenged to let our faith show through prayer, worship, and love for our neighbors instead of anger or ideology. God’s Word is described as sweeter than honey, guiding us like guardrails that protect and give life, and when we soak in it daily, it changes how we think, act, and treat others. We taste honey as a reminder that Scripture is good and life-giving, and we share communion to remember Christ’s sacrifice and example of humility. In all of this, we are encouraged to surrender ourselves fully so that God’s Word shapes our lives and draws us closer to him.
