This week we talked about how unexpected moments can disrupt our sense of peace and reveal how hard it is to stay grounded in a world full of anxiety, anger, and division. As followers of Jesus, we’re called to live by the values of God’s kingdom, where love, joy, peace, patience, and kindness flow from the Holy Spirit rather than from our circumstances. Instead of reacting out of fear or trying to control outcomes, we’re invited to pray, listen well, and respond in ways that reflect God’s presence in us. Much of what fuels our anxiety never actually comes to pass, and when we trust God’s peace, it reshapes how we treat others and face conflict. Real change comes when we live as peacemakers who consistently reflect Jesus in everyday conversations and choices.
