Our message this week talks about living a life centered on worship and prayer, where we are single-minded towards God and fully surrendered to His will. Focusing on identifying individual spiritual gifts through tests is a “Samson problem,” as it shifts our attention from God’s presence to the outward expression of power. Instead, true spiritual gifts come from the Holy Spirit, who distributes gifts as He wills for the purpose of serving one another and glorifying God. Ultimately, we are called to be humble, obedient, and completely surrendered to the Holy Spirit. When we are tuned in to the Holy Spirit, it allows God to manifest His will and purpose through us so that others may see Jesus.
