This week our community had the honor of witnessing four individuals publicly declare their desire to follow Christ by being baptized. Baptism is an important step in the journey toward a real, surrendered faith, a powerful symbol of dying to the old self and rising into a new life. This isn’t about putting on a show, but about recognizing what God is doing among us, giving Him glory for transformation in our lives. Through baptism, we publicly demonstrate that our sin has been buried with Christ, and by His resurrection power we rise to live differently.This is a great time for us all to reflect on where we stand – whether we’ve declared ourselves for Christ or are still on the fence. Let’s stay rooted in Scripture, humble in prayer, and fully surrendered to who Jesus is calling us to become.
